All scholarships are awarded to Graduating Seniors only unless otherwise noted. All contributions will be added to the principal of the funds named by the donor (Exception - One-Time Scholarship). Any contribution received without instructions will be deposited to the Raymond M. Foster Second Year Scholarship Fund.

Austin Kilmer Memorial Scholarship Fund  Scholarship awarded to student pursuing the study of automotive technology with preference given to those with the specific study of Auto Body/Collision repair. If there is no qualifying student, no scholarship will be awarded.
 
Barbara and Bill Miller Memorial Scholarship Fund  Preference given to Accounting/Business field of study or to B-G-M golf team member.
 
Bear Backers Athletic Scholarship Fund  Scholarship awarded to student athletes.
 
Betty Lippincott Memorial Scholarship Fund  Preference given to a BGM female golf participant.
 
Brandon J. Miller Memorial Scholarship Fund  Preference to a student who will be pursuing a degree in engineering or a form of agricultural education. The award will be granted each year regardless of these considerations.
 
Charlie Hanson Scholarship Fund
 
Coats/Tobin Memorial Scholarship Fund  Preference will be given to students planning to attend an Iowa college or university with preferred majors in education, agriculture, veterinary medicine, biotechnology, or related majors and also intend to stay in Iowa after graduation. Minimum scholarships to be awarded from this fund will be $2,000.
 
Christopher R. Keller Memorial  Scholarship Fund Preference will be given to students pursuing a career in a medical-related field
 
DARE Program Scholarship Fund  A Fund that was set up to grant scholarships to graduating seniors who went through the DARE program. The first scholarship was granted in 2003.
 
Diane Goodlow Memorial Scholarship Fund  Scholarship awarded to student pursuing a degree from the University of Iowa. If there is no qualifying student, no scholarship will be awarded.

Grace United Methodist Church Scholarship Fund  Scholarship recipients must be a member of GUMC and must have met certain criteria for participation in church activities during their Junior and Senior High School years.
 
Grinnell Girls Camp Association Scholarship Fund  Scholarship awarded to student interested in pursuing a degree in education or environmental studies.
 
Helyn and Richard Graham Memorial Scholarship Fund  Preference given to student pursuing a music/arts or ag-related degree or a technical college specialized trade.
 
Hobart and Marian Powell Scholarship Fund 
 
Irvin and Agnes Nervig Scholarship Fund  Scholarship criteria includes intent of pursuing a four-year degree with class rank/GPA being adequate to qualify them to be admitted to an accredited college or university with preference to a student not already receiving a large dollar scholarship.
 
JC Miller Founder's Award Scholarship Fund  Established to honor an original founding member of CSF of BGM. The intent is to grant this scholarship to a graduating senior who scores high in community involvement followed by school involvement and goals and objectives.
 
John & Anna Gloe Edelen & Carma J. Mohler Scholarship Fund  A memorial fund set up to grant larger scholarships to seniors to further their education at any accredited school of higher education.

Louise & Roger Van Ersvelde Scholarship Fund  First preference given to a student attending an accredited 2-year technical or trade school and second preference given to a student pursuing the study of an agricultural or business related field.

 
Mary Anne Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund  The first criteria will be a senior who worships at the Madison Church of Christ.  Preference will be given to those interested in medical, nursing, and/or ministry fields of study.  The award will be granted regardless of these considerations.
 

"Brooklyn Strong" Mollie Tibbetts Memorial Scholarship Fund  Preference given to students pursuing a degree in children's mental health or children's education.

Nellie Manatt Sherwood Scholarship Fund  Scholarship given each year to the valedictorian(s) of the graduating class of BGM.
 
Opal & Claire Meyer Memorial Scholarship Fund 
 
Raymond M. Foster Conservation Scholarship Fund  Given to a graduating senior of BGM who desires to study in one of the fields considered as part of the conservation of the earth an its resources. If none applies, then to a senior using normal procedures of the CSF of BGM.
 
Robert & Marie Roudabush Family Scholarship Fund  Preference given to students pursuing a degree in education. The scholarship will be awarded each year.

Rolland and Mary Doty Scholarship Fund  Preference given to students pursuing a degree in elementary education.

Taralyn Taylor Memorial Scholarship Fund  Scholarship awarded to nursing or medical students.

William (Bill) Korns Memorial Scholarship Fund  A scholarship fund established for any ministry student either currently in or graduated from the BGM school district, regardless of age or religion. This scholarship will not be awarded if there are no qualified applicants.
 
Operating Cost Fund  A fund set up by the Board of Trustees to pay for the cost of operating the foundation each year.
 
Preschool Scholarship Fund  A fund set up to grant scholarships to 3 and 4 year olds who attend the BGM preschool.
 
Project Mini-Grants Funds  Grants to teachers in the school system to fund new ideas that can't be funded through the school system. Grants made based on application from teachers with the approval of the school administration. You may elect to add your contribution to the following funds:

Raymond M. Foster Second Year Scholarship Fund  A scholarship fund set up for students extending their education beyond the first year. These scholarships will be available to students in their second consecutive year of school.
 
John & Anna Gloe Edelen & Carma J. Mohler Third Year Scholarship Fund  A scholarship fund was originally set up to redirect unaccepted scholarships after the two-year acceptance deadline. These scholarships will be available to students in their third consecutive year of school.
 
John & Anna Gloe Edelen & Carma J. Mohler Fourth Year Scholarship Fund  A scholarship fund set up for students extending their education to four years. These scholarships will be available to students in their fourth consecutive year of school.
 
One-Time Scholarship  A lump sum donation of $100 or more with no intent of establishing a permanent fund. Often times used for a memorial scholarship.  Donation will be awarded at the following spring awards night.
